I use craft velour for most of my dolls because I like the little bit of stretch it has. It makes stuffing the noses, chins and jaw lines so much easier.

I use animal eyes for many of my dolls as I like the little bit of sparkle it gives the face. Small dolls use the 4.5 mm eyes, middle size dolls use the 6mm eyes and the largest dolls use 9mm.

I like a thick bulky wool yarn for dolls like Sewphie, Zoey and Poptops. It is heavier then regular carpet yarn so it really holds it's shape. You can also untwist the strands for great curly hair.
